Carol comes from a musical family that used to amuse themselves on long car trips by singing. (Yeah, it sounds "very Brady", but hey, the car had no radio, so what's a girl to do?) Anyway, it was this somewhat unusual childhood experience that gave Carol her ability to harmonize by ear, as well as her immunity to odd stares from curious onlookers. In addition to music, Carol enjoys dancing, drumming, chocolate, interesting conversation and new experiences. She dislikes excessive humidity, closed-mindedness, sloppy grammar, rain at a festival and coconut. Favorite musicians include Yes, Pink Floyd, Enya, Chopin, Michael Nyman and Jethro Tull. Carol admires Stephen Hawking, the late Gene Roddenberry and Clive Barker, and has only four degrees of separation from Kevin Bacon. Besides Music for the Goddess, Carol is also a member of Noname, a three-person a cappella singing group that includes Jeff Kalmar (MFTG guitarist). Carol would like strangers to know that, although she's intense, she's not nearly as intimidating as she seems, and is actually kind of goofy.
